Indulge in a delightful afternoon of luxury & elegance as you step back in time and enjoy a traditional high tea with all of the trimmings. Laughter & conversation flow easily around our perfectly set tables when you are seated to enjoy a delicately planned afternoon of finesse and tradition, enjoyed over a two-hour sitting. High tea is served on Saturday and Sunday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, and bookings are essential.
Pleasantly charming & reminiscent of a bygone era, Miss Violets High Tea room prides itself on tradition. For such an occasion as an afternoon High Tea, Miss Violet knows only the most opulent setting will do. The room is set with Royal Albert China, crystal chandeliers, white starched table cloths and fresh flowers. You can relax in comfortable chairs and take some time away from the world to enjoy yourself with your guests in the fully air-conditioned, light filled room, which includes an open fireplace, making it the perfect space for an afternoon of luxury any time of the year.
The High Tea menu consists of a glass of champagne on arrival, a seasonal, gourmet selection of vintage & classic hot and cold savory finger food including ribbon sandwiches and Mrs. Drew’s’ famous sausage rolls. This is followed by our moreish scones, served with homemade raspberry jam and freshly hand whipped cream, and an array of luscious small cakes, petit fours and fine chocolate. The finest English breakfast tea flows throughout your sitting. Coffee and herbal teas are available upon request for an additional cost.
Miss Violets High Tea is $99.00 per head. We are a fully licensed tea room and offer a selection of fine wines and classic cocktails which are available upon request. We are lovingly able to cater for all dietary requirements including gluten free and vegan as long as these are disclosed 48 hours before your sitting. Please note that an extra $10.00 charge applies.
Bookings are essential and payment is required at the time of booking. There is no minimum number of people and bookings for larger groups or functions are available.
