Beautiful functions in an elegant room…

At Old Man Drew no event is too big or too small. Drawing on our director Dorothy’s 50 years experience in the hospitality industry, we are capable of lovingly & professionally catering for any occasion or event.

The upstairs section of our building is perfect for more private & intimate events. We have a separate entrance off Moonee Street which can be utilized, and the upstairs area can be accessed via the stairs or our elevator. Opening out into our foyer and balcony, guests can then enter the elegantly decorated function room. Private upstairs toilets are also available for your guests’ convenience.

Also available for your special occasion are our whimsical rooms down stairs. Including our light filled Atrium, Private Lounge, Historic Wine Cellar and Vintage outdoor Garden. As these rooms act as an enjoyable day space for our café trade, these areas are only available for evening events.

At Old Man Drew we understand no two events are ever the same. We design packages suitable to your needs, taste & budget. Therefore we don’t have a set price for any given function and instead design a suitable package for each event individually. We have spaces to cater for up to 50 people for a seated event, or 190 for a stand-up/cocktail style function (subject to covid19 restrictions at the time of the event).  

Equip with a large functioning Kitchen and bar, we are able to cater for smaller groups and larger groups. We have a wealth of experience hosting engagement parties and smaller weddings as well as birthdays, bridal and baby showers and special unforgettable family events.
